Mission Statement

It is our desire to provide an exceptional and fun learning experience for all our players and coaches. We believe youth hockey offers the opportunity to develop character, sportsmanship, a sense of teamwork, respect for authority and commitment. Our primary goals are to have fun learning to love the game of hockey, to provide opportunity for all players to reach their potential and to be character role models through a positive life learning experience.

Griff's Geogetown Ice Center
Griff's Georgetown

Griff's Georgetown (formerly know as Georgetown Ice Center) opened in 2004 and is currently owned by DP Fox Holdings LLC.  It features two sheets of NHL size ice and is home to the GVAHA Stars, three area high school teams, and three GVSU Club Teams. Griff's Georgetown offers a variety of skating and hockey programs for youth and adults. They are also home to B.C. Pizza and SK8's Pro Shop. The ice center sees over 250,000 patrons, players, parents and voters visit annually. For more information about public programs visit griffsgeorgetown.com

The Grand Valley Amateur Hockey Association (GVAHA) is a non-profit, volunteer organization that provides hockey programs in West Michigan. We serve hockey players from many surrounding communities including Hudsonville, Jenison, Grandville, Wyoming, Byron Center, Zeeland, Holland, Grand Haven, Allendale and more. GVAHA provides hockey opportunities for all ages.
