My wife and I have two boys. Our son Caleb is currently in the STARS program. Our son Ben played for the STARS and is now playing high school hockey. I have been a member of the association for the last several years as both a Head Coach and Assistant Coach. I am an Engineering Design Manager at Lacks Trim Systems in Grand Rapids and referee hockey when there is spare time!

The Grand Valley Amateur Hockey Association (GVAHA) is a non-profit, volunteer organization that provides hockey programs in West Michigan. We serve hockey players from many surrounding communities including Hudsonville, Jenison, Grandville, Wyoming, Byron Center, Zeeland, Holland, Grand Haven, Allendale and more. GVAHA provides hockey opportunities for all ages.
