Here at GVAHA our FUNdamental program is unique in all of metro Grand Rapids. FUNdamentals is designed to be a bridge for our 9-14 year olds just completing a season of Learn to Play, Cross-Ice, or 8U. Fundamentals provides an emphasis on individual skill development, game knowledge, thus fostering the necessary self-confidence to advance onto the next level of hockey. GVAHA recognizes that these players are more likely to enjoy their competitive hockey experience the following year more if they participate in our FUNdamental program, versus if these players jumped from Learn to Play, Cross-Ice, or 8U into competitive hockey immediately.

The Grand Valley Amateur Hockey Association (GVAHA) is a non-profit, volunteer organization that provides hockey programs in West Michigan. We serve hockey players from many surrounding communities including Hudsonville, Jenison, Grandville, Wyoming, Byron Center, Zeeland, Holland, Grand Haven, Allendale and more.
