GVAHA offers the Midwest’s Premier Goaltending School – Bandits Goaltending School.
GVAHA is dedicated to providing the highest level of Goalie training in the area.

We work with some of the best goalie instructors in the business.Each week during the season, a goalie at GVAHA will be offered high level instruction from professional goalie instructors from the Bandits Goalie School. Additionally, our travel teams offer one-on-one instruction sessions with a Bandits Goaltending School Instructor all season.

Bandits Goaltending School is the Midwest’s Premier Goaltending School. Bandits will be training all of the goalies in GVAHA in weekly clinic style sessions as well as one-on-one travel team training for goalies throughout the season.

Grand Valley Amatuer Hockey Association, in conjunction with Georgetown Ice Center, is very excited to provide opportunities for their players and user groups to aid in their development to be the best that they can be on and off the ice. Hockey Director, Jack Williams says, “with these additions at Georgetown Ice Center, our goal of being able to provide unprecedented training for GVAHA and user groups can only enhance players on ice performance!”

Stan’s philosophy and teaching methods at Bandits are exactly what most goalies need. Stan is dedicated and committed towards teaching and improving goalies. He knows the fundamentals of goal keeping as well as any goalie coach I know. Stan is a successful goalie coach, not only because he played the position at a high level, but because he also understands the position, and has a passion to teach and the skills to communicate with young goalies. He is in complete touch with today’s goal keeping and his “Points of Emphasis” are a must in learning the fundamentals of playing goal today.
