New Goal Tending Coach at GVAHA

GVAHA is excited to introduce Alex Whitman as our dedicated Goal Tending Coach at GVAHA.

Alex will be working on the ice with every GVAHA team throughout the season. He played hockey for 13 years, 10 of which have been spent playing goalie. Alex played for multiple organizations and teams. Most recently for Coach Breazeale at Grandville High School. He spent three years with him there working with a multitude of different goaltending coaches. All of which played high level college or professional hockey. Most notable being Joe Messina and Mike Fountain. Goaltending runs in Alex’s family as his brother played all through high school and into college. Alex is excited for the opportunity to share his knowledge of the game with the up and coming goalies with the Grand Valley STARS.
