USA Hockey FLEX Program Comes To West Michigan
WHAT IS FLEX HOCKEY?
FLEX HOCKEY is an alternative hockey program for new skaters offering a hockey option with reduced cost, reduced time, fun, safe and skills focused participation.
Our FLEX Hockey development program is a unique step in the progression at Georgetown Ice Center.
FLEX Hockey follows our Learn to Play program and allows families the option of choosing the traditional more competitive age specific hockey progression or selecting our FLEX Hockey program which is a great step for those not so sure if they are ready for such a commitment for whatever reasons.
WHO IS FLEX HOCKEY FOR?
FLEX Hockey is designed for older youth (9+) who want who to make a step towards more competitive hockey in a non-check environment. FLEX Hockey emphasizes FUN, skill development and an appropriate conceptual understanding of the game, which will help prepare players for the next level of hockey, or simply stay put and enjoy the FUN and educational environment provided by our coaches in FLEX Hockey.
