Hello Georgetown association parents and players!

This is Ben Warda, owner and head instructor of West Michigan Pro Hockey School. I hope everything’s been going well and everyone has enjoyed their season this year. I’m very excited to announce our return to Hudsonville, as we will be running one of our training camps at Georgetown Ice Center from July 10-14.

We had a tremendous group last year however we plan to step it up a notch and really push the kids through our new practice plans and off ice workouts. To give you a brief description of the day-to-day at West Michigan Pro, we run from 8:15 am – 3:30 pm everyday, Monday – Friday. The players will go through 3 hours of on-ice practices and skill development drills, a 45 minute lunch, 50 minute video session and nutrition meeting, and a one hour off-ice workout EACH DAY at camp. We guarantee the players will not only improve their skills dramatically, but also learn the proper ways to train their bodies and get better during the off-season. Also, our entire staff is comprised of current professional and previous Division 1 College Hockey players. This is a very important attribute to my hockey school, as I want staff members and coaches who have played at the highest level and know how to teach these kids what it takes to get there.

All staff bios along with our focus and any further information you may need can be found at our website: www.westmichiganpro.com

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me anytime at warda@westmichiganpro.com. I want to thank the entire Georgetown Youth Hockey Association for bringing us back to Hudsonville; we can’t wait to get back to work! Thanks!
